Monster Magnet - God Says No
Right
now, as we are drowning in a see of teen pop, rap-core, and nu-metal, we
need a lifeboat. Monster Magnet is this lifeboat, a leather-clad, no
nonsense, kick ass hard rock savior!
When listening to their newest CD, you can hear influences of old
blues gods of the 1950’s and of early classic bands like black Sabbath
and the doors. You can also hear modern electronic elements such as
keyboards and maybe some programmed drums. The
CD starts off with heavier songs like Melt and Heads Explode. It
then lightens up for a few songs, until the psychedelic song Gravity
Well. The next standout song on this CD would have to be the bonus
track, Silver Future, which was originally released on the
soundtrack to the animated sci-fi movie Heavy Metal 2000. Conclusion, Ka POW! Razor_Mag\\christian_soldier_666
