oHgr - weLt
This CD is damn good. Really,
really damn good. After I
listened to it for a few weeks, I let people borrow it.
I actually went through oHgr withdrawal. It was insane! The
album art is some of the coolest I have ever seen.
It has these funny little creatures; they look like psycho
gophers, attached to machines and organic-looking nerve structures.
There’s also the most interesting nonsense quote I have ever
read inside the CD booklet. You
have to read it. It’s all
very odd.
The music and the vocals are amazing!
There is not one crappy song on this CD, not even a boring filler
song. Every song is catchy
in it’s own way, and not like annoying teen pop.
None of the songs use the same sounds either, oHgr is extremely
creative. When listening to
this disc, I am reminded of Skold, just good, basic and fun industrial
music.
My favorite song on the CD would have to be Kettle.
About 50 seconds into the song, they trip it up a bit.
You need to hear it to know what I mean.
It makes me smile every time.
Cracker is also a very good song.
It seems to be about Marilyn Manson: “you think you’re evil
but you’re not / still sucking life from the mainstream” and “its
so deluded (diluted?) Give
it up / its unoriginal”. Pore
is another crazy song. It
ends up sounding really weird, but I like it and so does everyone else I
talked to. It’s got this
kind of almost hip-hop grove to it. Again, you need to hear it to
believe it. I think that everyone should own a copy of this CD. Everyone, N’sync fans, Iced Earth fans, Jay Z fans, Skinny Puppy fans, anyone else with a CD player. It is that simple. Go buy a copy. NOW! Razor_Mag\\christian_soldier_666
